Founded in 2009, Sportskeeda is a global sports and entertainment content platform that provides in-depth coverage of sports, gaming, entertainment, and more.

After becoming a trusted name in sports, Sportskeeda branched out into esports, given how esports had developed into a serious and competitive industry of its own. The next step in our evolution was covering gaming and esports at par with other traditional sports.

Once we got into esports and gaming, it didn’t take us long to realize that our audience sees sports - both traditional and new age esports - as a part of the larger pop culture universe. We saw it as a unified ecosystem where the lines between sports stars and movie stars, between streamers and digital influencers and between TV shows and games are blurred, to the point where it is difficult to say where one ends and another starts.

Sportskeeda has steadily expanded its scope over the years, while also broadening its audience demographic. Today, Sportskeeda offers a wide range of content across a variety of fields - from exclusive stories and current events coverage to expert analyses and behind-the-scenes reporting.

In addition to serving over 100 million fans every month on its platform, Sportskeeda is regularly referenced by reputed third-party sources, which indicates its influence and relevance in the global media landscape. Sportskeeda has also diversified into video content, and its social media presence has only grown with time - right now it is followed by over 25 million fans across the major social media platforms.

He hosted the PFF postgame show on SiriusXM for two years, and now hosts the “Two-Point Stance” for Fantasy Points. Brian competes annually in the King’s Classic experts draft at the Pro Football HOF.

Mark Medina

Mark Medina has covered the NBA as a national writer with NBA.com and USA Today. He has also served as the Golden State Warriors beat writer for Bay Area News Group, Los Angeles Lakers beat writer for the LA Daily News, and Lakers blogger with The Los Angeles Times. Bill Apter

Bill Apter is one of the world’s most recognizable pro wrestling journalists, with over 50 years of experience. Working with magazines like The Wrestler, Inside Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Apter has made an indelible mark on the business. He helped compile the PWI 500 list, a ranking of the who’s-who of professional wrestling. Apter is also a part of multiple halls of fame, including the NWA Hall of Fame.

Paul Merson

Paul Merson is a former professional footballer who is best known for his stint with Arsenal. He won five major trophies in a career spanning over 12 years with the Gunners, and to this day remains a firm fan favorite at the club. After his retirement, Merson has continued to be involved in the beautiful game as a media personality.

With almost a decade of experience in the corporate world, Ajay has donned multiple hats to manage and grow verticals like Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR. Now working with the highly energetic Sportskeeda team, Ajay is on a mission to make Sportskeeda the No. 1 sports website in the world. Hailing from the heart of the country, Bhopal, Ajay is a BTech graduate in IT and holds an MBA in Marketing from IBS, Hyderabad. He is married and has a 5-year-old son, and is also based in Bengaluru

Anirudh Kumar

Anirudh has over 17 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, consulting, and entrepreneurship. He is also a veteran in Corporate Strategy and has extensive experience leading fundraising, acquisitions, international expansion, marketing, and business development globally. His illustrated career includes positions like Managing Partner at Rainforest Venture Networks, leading investments across multiple sectors for Matrix Partners ($1B+ AUM), Snapdeal, Radix, and McKinsey & Company. He will be an integral part in the next phase of growth for Absolute Sports.

Sankalp Sharma

Sankalp has spent over a decade managing technology to align and scale it for both large & small businesses. His experience is spread across telecommunication, infrastructure & IT, banking, food tech and online media. Sankalp's biggest passion is peeling off layer after layer of the problems that businesses face, ultimately cracking them open with common sense and technology (in that order). Brought up in the beautiful hills of Nainital, Sankalp did his undergrad in Computer Engineering from Pantnagar University. He threw himself into freelance technology consulting right out of the college dorm. Sankalp worked with companies of several shapes and sizes, often as a consultant, before arriving and finding a niche at Sportskeeda. He is currently based in Bengaluru, with a wife and a daughter.
