Manish Pandey (Hubli Tigers captain): (The team can't put a foot wrong) Touchwood. Before the game started I told the boys whatever has happened has happened. Everyone was very pumped for today and we're really happy with how we turned up. We've prepared really well - some of the boys went to the nets even after playing 10 games. The coaches sat together (before the season) and the first thing we spoke about was role clarity and most of the boys have responded really well. One or two odd games in the middle but it happens. We kept speaking about reducing the mistakes. We've batted (first) a few times this tournament but what we've done is bowl first to reach where we are this tournament. Nothing will change if we bat or bowl first tomorrow, the boys have been doing well.

As easy as it gets for the Tigers. They looked unstoppable already and now have the momentum of a massive win in the semi-final. Just too good. 150 was 40 runs short of a win-able total on this pitch which had a bit of slow turn, some early swing but nothing else for the bowlers.

Impact player Sisodia played like he always does. Skipper Shreyas Gopal, curiously took the first over on his shoulders but got smacked for 19 and didn't bowl again in the match. Sisodia's crunch timing led to his fall in the next over as he fell to Koushik's simple plan of bowling on his pads and making him to hit straight to square leg.

After that it was all Taha and Shrijith. The former was in his zone again today and made life so difficult for the bowlers. He not only found the gaps with his unorthodox shots but also took on the deep fielders with sheer power. Gopal used pacers first and then spinner in the middle overs but no one was spared and shoulders dropped in the field.

Shrijith rotated the strike for Taha initially but started to get a few away with time as well. Taha survived a LBW call off a no ball and then fell to a slow bouncer on his body, which he tried to flat-bat straight over the bowler. Shrijith grew into the role of the aggressor after that and took on the responsibility on himself. With youngster Ashwin on the other end, he finished the game off with ease.
