10 bold potential outcomes of the Shield vs Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre feud

Not the best of weeks for the Shield.
The Shield made a few enemies on Raw

Well, it looks like being one of the most explosive rivalries in recent WWE history. Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman is the never-ending rivalry that seems to only take new twists and turns the further we meander down the road, but when the Money In The Bank contract and the Universal Championship were added, it got a whole lot bigger!

With The Monster Among Men poised to cash in his contract and take Roman Reigns' title off him the night after a monumental win over Brock Lesnar, one of WWE's most popular factions of all time made a monstrous comeback to halt the biggest monster of all, and thus Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose's rivalry with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre - going all the way back to Rollins and Ziggler's Intercontinental Championship rivalry of recent months - was intertwined, making the potential implications huge.

Now the six men of the red brand hold all of the men's titles between them - with Reigns holding the Universal Championship, Rollins the Intercontinental Championship, and Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre acquiring their own gold when they defeated the B-Team for the Raw Tag Team Championships last night. Braun Strowman, of course, has cashed in his Money In The Bank suitcase, but the six men involved hold all the gold as this rivalry looks to erupt.

So, what happens next? Well, with a six-man Tag Team Match planned for the Super Show-Down between the two volatile trios, and a Universal Championship Match between Strowman and Roman at Hell In A Cell, this one isn't over by a long shot - and with so many titles involved, you'd have to think at least one might change hands over the course of the next month.

How will this one unfold? I have the three bold outcomes that would definitely spice up the red brand...

#10 The Shield implodes and they all brawl for the Universal Championship

All three men are capable of holding the top title
All three men are capable of holding the top title

Okay, so this one is reliant on Roman Reigns escaping from Hell In A Cell with his WWE Championship, but good things never last and, while it's nice to see The Shield back together as a formidable team...

Well, I kind of miss seeing them all fighting amongst themselves. Remember that night that all three Hounds of Justice held the WWE Championship on the same night?

Well, that's how it should be! All three men are capable of being the top guy in WWE, and all three should WANT to be the top guy in WWE. The logical choice would see The Shield implode, brawl amongst themselves, and we gear towards a Triple Threat Match for the Universal Championship

#9 Braun Strowman wins the Universal Championship and ditches Dolph and Drew

Brau
Braun is a one-man wrecking machine

So, it's pretty obvious why Braun Strowman has two men by his side - while it is believable that Braun could take on three men and win, while he's currently a heel, it makes no sense that one heel would take on three faces.

The numbers game is notoriously used for the bad guys to get heat on the good guys, hence the entire heel division of Raw destroying The Shield on last night's show - and, of course, with Rollins and Ambrose feuding with Ziggler and McIntyre, it all just makes sense.

But going forward, a Universal Champion Braun Strowman should live up to his moniker of being A Monster Among Men - so why would a monster need two men to have his back?

This scenario would see Braun Strowman win the Universal Championship from Roman Reigns and ditch the "baggage" that is the Raw Tag Team Champions, potentially setting up a future feud...

#8 Drew McIntyre becomes the number one contender for the Universal Championship

<p>
When monsters collide

Well, you probably knew where I was going with that one. Calling Drew McIntyre a mere "man" probably wouldn't bode well for Braun. Ditching his "baggage" most likely wouldn't go down too well either.

While Dolph Ziggler has been the main man of the duo so far when it comes to holding singles titles, there's no real question about who would be the more likely Superstar to give Braun Strowman a hard time in the ring.

While Drew and Dolph are holding the Tag Team Championships right now, that could all change, and the nature of the contest means McIntyre wouldn't even need to take a pinfall.

With or without Dolph Ziggler by his side, Drew McIntyre would prove an incredible challenge for any champion - whether it be Braun, Roman, or both in a Triple Threat Match going forward.

#7 Dean Ambrose turns heel and goes after some gold

A B
Is all well with The Shield?

Well, to say these two have a sticky past would be the understatement of the century. While all seems fine with The Shield just now, Rollins turning on his brothers may well not be completely forgiven - and titles can make a good man turn bad, so what about a Lunatic?

If one member of the Hounds of Justice were to turn heel right now, Ambrose definitely has the look of a man possessed since his injury - which was of course rumoured to have been inadvertently caused by Seth Rollins when the pair held the tag team gold, a move that then saw Ambrose replaced by Jordan and Rollins say Ambrose's injury was a blessing in disguise for his singles career as The Architect saw a resurgence make him one of Raw's top dogs.

Now, Ambrose could very well choose to go after Roman Reigns and his Universal title, too, as the possibilities really are endless when it comes to these three men.

#6 The six men all align to take on the entire Raw roster

Not the best of weeks for the Shield.
The feud doesn't just affect the six men

Well, it seems like the least likely option given their history and how the locker room split this week to separate the men - but you never know!

If Reigns and Ambrose can forgive Rollins and realign, we could see these six men get together and rip through a roster than tried to divide, and conquer, them this week.

It may not only be the Raw roster that would be fearing the wrath of a Shield, Braun, Dolph and Drew team, though, as we do have a very interesting pay-per-view fast approaching that normally sees all rivalries thrown on the shelf for one night only to fight for brand supremacy.

With Survivor Series coming, Baron Corbin may see fit to throw them together to form Team Raw to take on the blue brand!

#5 WWE creates Trios Championships

Could T
Could The Shield become the first ever WWE Trios Champions?

Well, this is the other unlikely one - but you never know what could happen! Several promotions already utilise gold when it comes to six-man Tag Team Matches, and we know WWE loves implementing new titles and championships at every occasion - so with six-man Tag Team Matches becoming more and more regular on Raw, particularly in main events, this could be one for the future.

While the time may have passed to do it with The Shield taking more than their fair share of singles titles, it would add more depth to the programme and could even become an Interbrand championship.

With teams like The New Day, SAnitY, The Undisputed Era, British Strong Style and even Lucha House Party, three-man factions are a huge part of every WWE show already, and more teams could well be formed.

Will we see Trios Champions in WWE soon? Possibly not, but it's a nice thought...

#4 Roman Reigns turns heel and tells Rollins and Ambrose he no longer needs them

Could ThEnter caption
Could The Big Dog become a lone wolf?

I mean, a large portion of the WWE Universe boos him anyway, right?

Of course, Roman Reigns is the second least likely WWE Superstar to ever turn heel, only being pipped to the post by one John Cena. The fans have been clamouring for it for years and, well, giving Reigns the reaction of a heel, so better late than never!

Reigns wouldn't necessarily even have to "turn heel" for this one to become a reality. Roman has been a lone man for the best part of a year already, and more if you accumulate what happened before the last Shield reunion.

It is HIS yard, and no-one else's - so does Reigns really need Rollins and Ambrose? If the trio were to feud going forward, this would be one way to do it without turning Rollins or Ambrose, and it could be done in a way that sees Ambrose and Rollins fight each other for the Intercontinental title, too.

#3 Drew McIntyre turns on Dolph Ziggler

D
Ziggler and McIntyre have taken the world by storm

It's only a matter of time, right?

Well, maybe not now that Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre are the new Raw Tag Team Champions - but that could all change. Whether it be The B-Team regaining the titles, the Authors of Pain making their presence known, or Rollins and Ambrose chasing the gold, McIntyre and Ziggler are set to lose the belts eventually.

Now, it's only fitting that this pair turn against one another as nothing lasts forever in WWE, not even WrestleMania streaks - so what better way to go forward than the pair losing the Tag Team Championships and McIntyre blaming Ziggler for it all?

Well, Ziggler could, of course, win the Intercontinental Championship back from Rollins with the help of McIntyre, and the Scotsman could deliver a Claymore to Ziggler and challenge him for the gold to win the Intercontinental title he held in his first WWE run.

#2 The Shield all become singles Champions as Ambrose brings an old title back to television

The S
The Shield are no strangers to gold

Two of them currently have titles, but what about Dean Ambrose?

With Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns holding the two singles titles available on Raw, The Lunatic must be feeling a bit left out - but what else is there for the Grand Slam Champion?

Well, without taking a title off of one of his fellow Hounds of Justice, there isn't much else for him to do bar maybe try win the United States Championship at a pay-per-view and bring it over from the blue brand. It is, of course, a belt Dean Ambrose is familiar with.

But I have a better idea - The Hardcore Championship. If Dean Ambrose wants to prove his lunacy, what better way than bringing back WWE's most unpredictable title? Book it, WWE.

The
The Hardcore Championship is now defunct.

#1 Roman Reigns retains, Rollins and Ambrose win the Tag Team Chamionships and The Shield hold all the gold

Same scene
Same scene, different titles

And this one is a bit more realistic - while it would be nice to have the Hardcore Championship back, there's a good chance that may never happen - but The Shield don't hold ALL the gold in WWE. While convincing Ronda Rousey to join up and bring over the Women's Champion sounds like a fun idea, that may never happen. Although she has been in a match with two honorary Sheild members in Kurt Angle and Triple H, of course.

No, I'm talking about the Raw Tag Team Championships. We've already seen Rollins and Reigns hold the WWE Tag Team Championships, and Rollins and Ambrose have held the Raw Tag Team Championships.

More titles for
More titles for Rollins and Ambrose

With the belts on two of their opponents, The Shield could very well bring those two belts home and hold all the gold on the red brand going forward - firmly establishing them as WWE's top guys, as well as putting a huge target on their backs - one that may very well see the Raw roster pour out and ambush the Hounds of Justice again.
