Roman Reigns was heavily cheered in the brief 2017 Shield reunion

WWE has been constantly trying to push Roman Reigns as the 'Top Guy' or the 'Top Babyface' of the company. But they've been unsuccessful in getting the fans cheer for him. Some fans look up to Reigns as their favourite, but Reigns isn't able to connect with the 'hardcore' wrestling fans.

That has been a major problem for the WWE since 2015. Roman Reigns is not the best on the mic, but he is a great wrestler who can put on good matches. He also has "the look", which is a huge reason for his backstage push.

But the problem is that the WWE has been unable to book him properly and due to this, he has been damaged considerably. The night after WrestleMania 33 should have been the night when Roman Reigns turned heel. Becoming the second man to beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania had garnered him immense hate from the fans. But that didn't happen and this made the crowd boo him even more.

But Roman Reigns is always well received by the fans when he is the part of The Shield. This shows that he may just need a Stable that would get him over with the fans.

Let's have a look at 3 Factions that can get Roman Reigns Over!

#1 The Shield (Face)

The Hounds Of Justice
The Hounds Of Justice

One of the most dominant and famous factions in recent memory is The Shield. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns are the three guys who dominated the WWE roster since their debut in 2012.

Later on, the group broke-up and then the three competitors became singles stars and got much success, with all of them becoming Grand Slam Champions.

In 2017 the group was reunited, but the shocking return came to halt when Dean Ambrose got injured. Being with The Shield got Roman Reigns cheered by the fans as a babyface.

Dean Ambrose is expected to return soon from his injury and this could lead to The Shield forming again. This would be quite beneficial for Roman Reigns and the idea would be well received by the fans.

#2 The Samoan Shield (Heel)

Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Roman Reigns

These three are from the Samoan Bloodline and in fact, they are cousin brothers. The Usos are considered to be the best tag team in the WWE and they have held the WWE Tag Team Championships on various occasions.

Jimmy, Jey & Roman have teamed up with each other multiple times to help each other out against their opponents. To make this team happen, either Roman Reigns will have to jump over to Smackdown Live or The Usos will have to come to RAW.

The Usos are great as heels and with Roman Reigns turning heel to team with them would be beneficial to all three. The Samoan Shield against the likes of SAnitY, New Day and many others would be two of many possible dream matches.

This is a faction that will gain the attention of the WWE Universe quickly and the fans would love to see them.

#3 The Empire Of Pain (Heel)

Akam, Rezar & Roman Reigns

Just imagine The Authors Of Pain and Roman Reigns teaming up as a heel faction, with their objective being to destroy anyone or anything that is standing in their way.

AoP (Authors Of Pain) have not been involved on RAW for anything except squashing jobbers since their main roster call-up. Forming a heel faction with Reigns would be a career-making move for them.

And for Reigns, it would be a huge leap in getting "over" with the fans. With Reigns being a powerhouse and The AOP also being a destructive powerhouse together, the three would become an unstoppable force.

This Faction would be a delight for the fans to watch and would give us many entertaining matches. Together, they can become a wrecking force and it would not be easy to beat them.

This Faction, if made, would definitely get Roman Reigns 'over' with the fans and it would definitely be a huge success if booked properly.
