3 reasons Becky Lynch is the "Stone Cold" Steve Austin of the reality era in WWE

Becky Lynch is one of the most beloved female wrestlers to walk the planet today--be it her wrestling or her promo skills, "The Irish Lass Kicker" is one who exceeds expectations on all fronts. Well, fortunately for fans of this talented young woman, the WWE lately seems to have taken great interest in promoting the Irishwoman as one of the Women's Division's top stars.

Notwithstanding, the fact remains that Lynch could be better utilized by the company--not only in its storylines, but also on the corporate front as a strong, assertive representative of the company. Despite the WWE's recent push of Lynch, one simply cannot deny the argument the hordes of her fans make--alleging that she ought to rightfully be accorded a more significant amount of the spotlight in the WWE Universe.

In light of Lynch's recent heel turn, which was rather unsurprisingly followed by the WWE altering its booking and presenting her as a tweener (i.e. neither heel nor face)--today, we are going to be looking at why Lynch's star-power is so very influential that the global media conglomerate that is WWE was coerced to depict this Superstar as a beloved anti-hero rather than a run-of-the-mill heel.

Bear in mind, Lynch's current situation in WWE is eerily similar to that of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's back in the day when--despite him initially being portrayed as a heel--the WWE Universe chose to cheer him and boo the babyface in the feud, Bret Hart! This discussion is about to get heated!

Lynch has an aura of a hell-raising agitator, which makes her anti-hero depiction in WWE the best option moving forward...

Becky Lynch has always been viewed as someone who can talk the talk and walk the walk. Well, to be honest, most of the attention garnered by her has been in relation to the 'walking' aspect of it, so to speak.

Fans as well as experts love lauding the SmackDown Women's Champion for her incredible wrestling skills, but inexplicably seem to overlook the fact that this talented young woman is straight fire on the microphone as well. Lynch cuts promos with such conviction that she could sell ice to an Eskimo!

In other words, Lynch has the rare ability to convince you that she means what she says, and says what she believes. As a babyface her promos were said to be lacking the zing that they usually possessed during her work as a heel a few years back--However, now that Lynch has turned heel, and well, subsequently transitioning to the role of a tweener; the fire in her mic work is back in a big way...If Alexa Bliss is the female version of The Rock when it comes to the mic, Becky Lynch could very well be the Steve Austin to Bliss' Rocky with regard to spitting fire on the stick...

#1 Can't hold a good woman down

Becky is sick of being held down by the system

Much like Steve Austin's career truly took off when he adopted the gimmick of an angry blue-collared fighter who's sick and tired of being held down by the system, Becky Lynch's career graph seems to be following a similar path.

You can't hold a good man down. And well, you can't hold a good woman down!

The basic idea behind Lynch attacking her longtime friend Charlotte Flair after the latter pushed Lynch out of her path en route to capturing the SmackDown Women's title at SummerSlam, is that Lynch was sick of being held down not only by the system but also by her best friend Charlotte.

Lynch's subsequent depiction of a woman who's hungry to succeed and won't allow the system or anybody for that matter hold her down, is what has truly endeared her to the fans as the anti-hero the WWE deserves. Becky Lynch is the modern-day version of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and in the days to come, her star is unquestionably destined to soar to the zenith.
