5 ideas for future WWE 24 episodes

WWE 24 is one of the best shows on the Network
WWE 24 is one of the best shows on the Network

WWE 24 is unquestionably one of the best original series on the entire WWE Network, and you won’t find many fans who will dispute that. The episodes, which last between 30 and 60 minutes, take us through a range of emotions as we get an inside look into the business that we all know and love.

It’s fitting, really, given that all the WWE Universe have ever wanted is a peek behind the curtain from time to time. Whether it be seeing the superstars out of character or seeing how things are pieced together at the showcase of the immortals, 24 is extremely easy to sit down and watch as a way to pass the time.

However, we still think there’s room for growth – and because of that, we’ve decided to run through a list of potential topics which we believe could make the legacy of this show even greater.

With that being said, here are five ideas for future WWE 24 episodes.

#5 WWE 24: Unsung Heroes

The production crew need to be recognised
The production crew need to be recognized

One thing that most fans can agree on when it comes to WWE is that their production value is far and away better than any other wrestling promotion of the face of this earth – other than perhaps Lucha Underground. For years now they’ve been able to make superstars both young and old look incredible, and they deserve some recognition for that.

We’d love to see the video editors, production crew, and general backstage personnel being given a spotlight in the form of a WWE 24 episode. We could see some exclusive interviews, find out how things work on a week to week basis, and generally take a look inside the minds of these low-key wrestling geniuses.

In a nutshell, we want to give these people the respect they’ve earned.

#4 WWE 24: Heir To The Throne

The Game is here to take over
The Game is here to take over

Everyone sitting here reading this knows that Triple H, also known as Paul Levesque, will one day take over the WWE empire from Vince McMahon. He’s been groomed for this position over the course of the last few years and while Shane may have something to say about that, we all know that HHH is going to be the one leading the charge once Vince steps away.

That isn’t a bad thing, either, because The King of Kings has earned his place at the top of the pro wrestling world throughout the course of his career. Because of this, we’d like to see a documentary that focuses on the relationship between The Game and Vince, as well as what the multi-time world champion gets up to on a day to day basis.

Perhaps if we see just how strenuous his work and travel schedule is, we can learn to appreciate it a little bit more.

#3 WWE 24: Beast Incarnate

Will this be Brock's final Mania?
Will this be Brock's final Mania?

Brock Lesnar is an absolute freak of an athlete, and WWE is lucky that they’ve been able to obtain his services for the better part of six years. Now, however, it seems as if his run is coming to an end with multiple reports suggesting that he’ll be departing the company following the conclusion of WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

If that is indeed the case, then we’d love nothing more than to follow his progress backstage as he enters what will likely be his final wrestling match with WWE. It can be similar to what was done with The Undertaker during the WM Orlando episode because otherwise Brock likely wouldn’t agree to do it.

#2 WWE 24: RAW 25

Raw 25 was a huge event
Raw 25 was a huge event

We’ve heard rumors of this one already, but we’d just like to see it be confirmed. After all, they built up to the 25th anniversary of Raw for the better part of six months, so it’d make sense that they do a WWE 24 special for it.

We could see faces both old and new interacting backstage, while also seeing the preparation of the ring in addition to legends reminiscing about their Raw memories from yesteryear. There’s a great deal of potential in this episode because it plays on the one factor that no wrestling fan can escape: nostalgia.

If you’ve got an episode where you’re going to look back over the good old days then you’re bound to get people hooked and let’s face it, it’ll probably be better than the WrestleMania Monday edition.

#1 WWE 24: Royal Rumble

Everyone loves the Rumble
Everyone loves the Rumble

The Royal Rumble is one of the most enjoyable nights on the WWE calendar, and as such, it’s quite surprising that we haven’t seen it be featured in an extended episode of WWE 24.

The event truly has taken on a life of its own with WWE creating travel packages for the Rumble, which is odd, given that they usually only do so for Mania. Plus, the Rumble is the only other pay per view on the schedule in recent years that has been featured in a stadium setting as opposed to an arena.

Much like The Hardy Boyz in the WM Orlando episode, it’d be great to see how the surprise returns are feeling in the minutes and hours before they step back onto that stage again.
