5 Superstars Paul Heyman Can Manage After Brock Lesnar

Look, we all saw events unfold on RAW this week. In the final segment of the show, Brock Lesnar destroyed RAW General Manager and his former adversary, Kurt Angle. Then he (almost) assaulted Paul Heyman, pushing him to the ground where Angle lay. It seems quite clear that the two men are headed towards a split soon.

Lesnar may venture to the UFC to test his prowess against the best fighters in the entire world. And that leaves Heyman all high and dry. It also creates an opportunity for a brand new Paul Heyman guy (or Paul Heyman girl!).

Paul Heyman has been associated with some of the greatest of all time, from Steve Austin, to The Undertaker, to CM Punk, and of course, Brock Lesnar. He has a Midas touch and can elevate almost anyone to the very next level.

These five superstars could certainly benefit from his wisdom and profound expertise.

#5 Asuka

Asuka needs a mouthpiece and she needs it fast!

How far down the ranks has Asuka fallen since she lost to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania this year? The same woman who was undefeated in NXT has been reduced to a sideshow character on SmackDown Live, while Carmella rules the roost. An association with Paul Heyman could help her overcome her weakest area- her promo skills.

Asuka is not a native English speaker and therefore her promos often leave the WWE Universe confused and rather underwhelmed. Paul Heyman may be the greatest orator in WWE history, who could significantly assist Asuka in rising to the next level. With Evolution on the horizon, this could definitely bode well for Asuka over the long haul.

It would also be fresh to see Paul Heyman aligned with a female WWE superstar. Heyman has mentioned in the past that he certainly would not be opposed to this.

#4 Bobby Lashley

Could Heyman go from one MMA fighter to another?

Over the years, there's been a lot of talk about an association between Paul Heyman and Bobby Lashley. Lashley is a powerhouse with an MMA background, who is sub par on the microphone. Does this remind you of another man, or maybe a beast with similar attributes? Lashley could certainly gain a lot of legitimacy with this association, and rise to the top.

Lashley has been portrayed as a top superstar since he has arrived in WWE for his second run. However, there just seems to be something missing, some X Factor to take him to the next level. I think Paul Heyman could fill the gap and transform Lashley into the A level superstar he needs to be.

Eventually it could lead to a dream feud between Lesnar and Lashley over the Heyman association. I have a feeling this is a feud that everyone in the WWE Universe is dying to see.

#3 Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre could ascend the ranks with Paul Heyman by his side

Drew McIntyre had an unfortunate first run in WWE. He has a chance to make things right with a second run. He came to NXT not long ago, won the championship and is being portrayed as a top guy in the main roster, aligned with the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler. It is clear that he has serious singles potential too.

When McIntyre does turn on Ziggler, could it be because Paul Heyman asked him to do so? He certainly does look the part of the 'next big thing', but with a wily advocate by his side, he could be even bigger than people expect him to be!

#2 Samoa Joe

Joe and Heyman would make an unstoppable unit

Paul Heyman does not need to help Samoa Joe out with his promo skills. Joe is perhaps the most fiery promo in WWE right now and can certainly engage in a war of words with the best of them! Why he needs Heyman is to give him an air of a top-tier performer.

Heyman, for his part, could foray into the blue brand for a spell. It would certainly shake things up and bring about some very interesting developments indeed. It could maybe even establish Joe as the next Brock Lesnar, in months that follow.

Imagine a feud with Daniel Bryan or even AJ Styles, with Heyman involved in the mix. It would be a wrestling fan's ultimate dream.

#1 Roman Reigns

Can Roman Reigns finally turn heel with Paul Heyman by his side?

Fans have wanted Roman Reigns to turn heel for a very long time now. WWE is convinced that he is better as a babyface, and so he's been the same character for years. Could WWE finally pull the plug and turn him heel at SummerSlam? Could Paul Heyman help Reigns win the Universal title?

A heel Reigns could battle so many foes. There's Rollins, Balor, Roode, Strowman and so many other contenders. He could even take on Ambrose upon his return.

Plus, a Heyman-Reigns union would be very big news. It would get a lot more eyeballs on the product, at once.
