Cricket is by far the most followed sport in the Indian subcontinent. Even globally, cricket is the second most followed sport after football. However, the reach of this sport is limited, as Cricket is not as popular in the western countries as it is in the subcontinent.

Hence, to expect WWE Superstars, most of whom are from the Americas, is a bit unrealistic. However, it is surprising to know that many WWE Superstars have actually tried their hands at a game which is completely new to them.

Here are five instances when WWE Superstars dabbled in cricket.

Ryback, along with Wade Barrett visited the ICC Cricket Academy in Abu Dhabi in 2015. While Barrett, who comes from Lancashire, England was not new to the game, The Big Guy certainly was.

It took some valuable lessons by the kids at the Academy for the former Intercontinental Champion to learn the basics of the game. Since he was fairly new to the sport, Ryback didn't face any of the lethal bowlers but was simply asked to hit the balls lying on the ground into a small net. Ryback actually did pretty well in his first attempt at the game.
