From The WWE Rumour Mill: Miz and Maryse to get their own reality show

What's the story?

According to a report from PW Insider, WWE Couple Miz and Maryse might be getting their own reality show, which would be a spinoff of the hit reality series-- Total Divas.

The show which will be centred around former Intercontinental Champion and his wife will probably be called "The It Couple" if it does get picked up.

The show will also feature Miz's friend and Current US Champion-- Dolph Ziggler.

In case you didn't know

The Miz is a former WWE Champion and has held the IC Championship a total of 7 times in his career; behind only Chris Jericho who holds the record at 9 reigns.

Maryse is also a former Diva's Champion in WWE. She was released by the WWE in 2011 but made her return in 2016 as the manager of her husband--The Miz.

The couple has been a regular feature on Total Divas since it's 6th season which aired in 2016.

The heart of the matter

The Miz is a former reality star and was a part of shows like The Real World, Tough Enough and Fear Factor so it will be right in his comfort zone to get yet another reality show revolving around his life.

The Miz has also been a part of movies such as Santa's little helper and Marine 4 among others. So, a reality show might also help him in his Hollywood career in the long run.

What's next?

The Miz just recently lost the Intercontinental Championship to Roman Reigns and has been out of action since. It is quite possible that we will see a Miz vs Roman feud when the former WWE Champion does return to action.

The Miz and Maryse have been extremely entertaining on Total Divas so it is understandable why they might get their own spin-off TV show.

Going by the success of Total Bellas, it is quite possible that this show might get picked up and become almost as successful as it's predecessors.
