Some of the Superstars created a strong impact this week

This week's RAW and SmackDown Live come to us from Richmond and Raleigh respectively, and the path towards Money In The Bank has become more clear.

We already know that the WWE championship, both the Women's championship on both the brands will be defended at the pay-per-view, this week add a little more to the mix at the event.

We had a possible feud being ignited for the Intercontinental title with Seth Rollins being attacked by Elias, a No.1 contenders battle royal for the RAW tag-team titles being announced for next week.

The final participants of the Money in the Bank ladder matches for both the male and female Superstars finalised as well, with a triple threat between Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe and Big Cass on SmackDown Live and the gauntlet match on RAW.

While once again there were some Superstars who created a great impact heading into the PPV others are still left stuck in a rut.

So without further ado, let's have a look at the hits and misses from this week's RAW and SmackDown.#5

#5 Hit: Braun Strowman

Ente
The Monster Among Men has been on a roll recently

Ever since qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match, Braun Strowman has been on a roll. Not only has he established himself as the odds-on favourite for winning the briefcase, The Monster Among Men has delivered two high-quality matches in the last couple of weeks with fellow MITB competitor Finn Balor.

However this week the match was cut short by Kevin Owens as he handed Balor a DQ win. But that didn't affect Strowman from making a strong statement.

First, with his inhuman strength, Strowman through a ladder on to the ramp at Owens and then made his presence felt in the aftermath of the match between KO and Bobby Roode.

He left both of his competitors lying flat on the mat and rounded off another good week. With his match with The Glorious One confirmed this week, it would be interesting to see if The Monster Among Men can continue his momentum all the way till Money in the Bank.

#4 Miss: The Bar

The BAR's switch to the blue brand has not been successful

Honestly, it was surprising to see The Bar being traded from RAW to SmackDown Live. Cesaro and Sheamus were on a great run on Monday nights. They held the tag-team gold multiple times and established themselves as one of the strongest teams in the world.

But ever since their switch to the blue brand things have not been going according to what Cesaro and Sheamus had expected. They only had one victory on SmackDown and this week they suffered another loss after they teamed up with the Miz to take on the New Day.

The match itself was one of the best ones this week, but a defeat does not help the BAR's cause. They could have vastly improved the already impressive tag-team division on the blue brand but at the moment they seem to be going nowhere.

#3 Hit: The New Day

<p>
It still remains to be seen who will be participating in the MITB match from the New Day

Who could it be? Who could be the member of the The New Day in the Money in the Bank ladder match? While another week passed by where we were left wondering, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E put on a show for the fans with a wonderful match with the Miz and the Bar.

As I had mentioned earlier, the match was one of the best matches this week and it also was a step in the right direction for the three-member team.

There have been rumours that the team could go their separate ways in the near future, but they will surely bring the surprise element to the Money in the Bank ladder match.

#2 Miss: Bobby Roode

n
The Glorious One seems to be stuck at the moment

Once again Bobby Roode makes the list as a miss and it seems his character is stagnating.

Ever since The Glorious One came to RAW, Roode has not been able to build any kind of momentum. And now for the second week in a row, he was pinned, and this time by Owens. To add insult to injury, the alliance with Strowman was short-lived and he got slammed by The Monster Among Men and we could witness the same scene next week as well.

In my opinion, a change in persona is much needed for the Glorious One as his character is not going anywhere at the moment. Roode has attained great success on NXT as a heel and a similar change could provide him with success. But at the moment, Roode continues to be missing the mark.

#1 Hit: Samoa Joe

If Jon
Will Samoa Joe win the MITB briefcase?

Well, Samoa Joe has been one Superstar who has been over with the fans for a long time. Injuries have limited his success in WWE, but there is no denying that the Samoan Submission Machine will make a great champion.

This week, Joe hit all the right spots with his performance. First his promo, wherein typical fashion, he came out with minimum fuss, grabbed a ladder, took down the briefcase and said why his fellow competitors should be scared of him.

And then came the triple threat match, where he put in a top performance. The match lasted for 22 minutes and Joe built a lot of steam going into MITB.

He will surely add to the unpredictability at the ladder match and if he does win the briefcase, he is sure to create a lot of tension for whoever will be the WWE champion.
