Speaking to TMZ Sports, Hulk Hogan addressed Kane’s mayoral seat aspirations.

Hogan spoke about Kane’s mayoral campaign, while also revealing the latter’s backstage role in WWE.

In case you didn’t know…

Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, is regarded as one of the most hard-working and professional people to have ever competed in the sport of pro-wrestling.

Several notable professional wrestling performers including Triple H, The Undertaker, Big Show and many more have lauded Kane for the latter’s professionalism and poise at the workplace.

The heart of the matter

Upon being probed regarding Kane’s mayoral bid, Hulk Hogan jested that the voters out there better vote for Kane or else he’ll hit them with “that fire”.

Furthermore, Hogan reiterated Kane’s status as a highly-respected personality backstage in WWE. Hogan stated—

"Backstage, he handles everything…All the business backstage, he takes care of everything. He's a sharp guy so I hope he does well there."

What’s next?

Over the past few months, Hulk Hogan has emphasized that he’d love to return to the world of professional wrestling.

Meanwhile, Kane aka Glenn Jacobs, recently won the Republican Primary in the race for Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee—as Jacobs is now set to go up against the Democratic Primary winner, so as to decide the new Mayor of Knox County, TN at the General Election in November of this year.

Over the past several years, Kane has time and again proven his willingness to contribute towards the community in Knox County, Tennessee.

It’s awesome to see Kane inch one more step closer toward becoming mayor in his region, which in turn will help him work more proactively in his efforts to help the community.

Besides, it’s great to hear that Kane is indeed an active participant in WWE’s backstage affairs, particularly when said validation comes from a legend such as Hulk Hogan.
