What's your story?

As highlighted by Steve Carrier at RingsideNews.com, current RAW Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is set to appear a bit more frequently for WWE in 2018, especially as we draw nearer to April's WrestleMania 34.

Lesnar, along with his Advocate Paul Heyman, is scheduled to appear on three RAWs and a live event in January, as well as at least one RAW in February.

In case you didn't know...

Brock Lesnar is known for being a part-timer with WWE ever since he returned to the company from the UFC in 2012.

This means The Beast Incarnate works limited dates, unlike most WWE Superstars who are working with WWE over 300 days a year.

As he does not appear often, fans are more eager to tune into WWE when Lesnar is around because they know it does not happen often. This is why he is such a draw for the company.

Earlier this past year, Lesnar became the RAW Universal Champion at WrestleMania 33 by defeating the legendary Goldberg. And although Lesnar has still kept to a very limited schedule, in 2017, he has appeared on WWE TV more than in previous years.

Heading into WrestleMania season though, we should see Lesnar more consistently.

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced on the December 19th edition of RAW that Brock Lesnar would defend his Universal Championship in a triple threat match against Braun Strowman and Kane at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV in January.

The heart of the matter

Lesnar, who was not on Christmas Day RAW, has been advertised by WWE for the 1st of January, 8th of January and 22nd of January, Monday Night RAW episodes.

The Universal Champion will also defend his title in a first-ever one-on-one bout with WWE veteran Kane the night before they do battle with Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble, at a live event in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday the 27th of January.

Lesnar will show up on the February 26th RAW from Anaheim too, the night after the Elimination Chamber PPV he is not going to be at.

These are the dates confirmed, but as Ringside New's Steve Carrier pointed out, Lesnar will be booked for even more RAWs in March as WrestleMania 34 gets closer and closer.

What's next?

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will be on New Year's Day RAW tomorrow night, and we can presume we will get to hear what his Advocate Paul Heyman thinks about Lesnar's Royal Rumble opponents, Kane and Braun Strowman.

After Lesnar appears on the January 8th RAW and January 22nd show, he will have two title defences before the end of January. One against Kane in Baltimore at that live event, and then secondly, versus Kane and Strowman at the Royal Rumble PPV.

That PPV occurs on Sunday the 28th of January from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the men's Royal Rumble main eventing the show.

It is assumed that Lesnar will retain on both occasions, as he is rumoured to be facing Roman Reigns for the belt at WrestleMania 34.

Author's take

It is only good news to hear that Brock Lesnar is going to be on RAW a lot more between now and WrestleMania 34 in April.

Even if Paul Heyman is just doing promos for Lesnar for the most part, people will tune in to RAW to see what Lesnar has to say.

More Beast, more Feast.
