Mohammad Rizwan, POTM and captain of Multan Sultans: We were not expecting as much seam as there was for the fast bowlers. There was something for the spinners too. Overall, it was a tough wicket but lord almighty was on my side. Maybe conditions changed a bit in the second innings. I consider Iftikhar amongst one of the best finishers in the world. Not too worried about catches being dropped. All teams are doing that.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, captain, Lahore Qalandars: I feel I should have taken that catch. Unfortunately, we couldn't execute our bowling plans towards the end. We still have seven games and will look to make a strong comeback. Yeah I think, we are clicking well but not executing in the field. We have dropped do many catches. Iftikhar and Khushdil are best finishers in Pakistan. They played very well and I am happy for them given they are Pakistani. We played good cricket but didn't grab our chances in the field.

Iftikhar Ahmed: Actually this is my role in the Pakistan team and I keep working on that. You don't get time in T20 cricket. I tried to hit boundaries right from ball one and targetted the short boundary. I was planning from outside that when Zaman will bowl I will go out. They are world class bowlers but we have the idea as we share the same dressing room. The way my role is in the team, I am living up to the expections but the team needs to keep on improving. We dropped many catches today again. We have to improve on this to be a champion side. The crowd always supports me. We don't want to disrupt our momentum.

That makes it 3 loses in 3 matches for the defending champions. They had an underpar score on the board but were given a solid start by Zaman Khan and skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi. However, it was the Sultans' skipper who stood in their way.

Mohammad Rizwan exhibited all his experience to compile a well-paced knock of 82 (59). However, he got out before the last mile could be covered. For a brief moment, we all thought Lahore were back in it. But it took one bad over from Zaman Khan to undo it all.

Iftikhar Ahmed stole the limelight there with some crazy power hitting. He scored 34 off just 11 balls. And just like that Multan Sultans have completed 3 wins out of 3 matches. They are in a comfortable position on the points table but would need to work on their fielding. 4 dropped catches on another night can hurt you dearly.

18.6 Zaman Khan to Iftikhar Ahmed, FOUR! Iftikhar finishes it off in style. What a turnaround in that over. 25 runs coming off the last 5 deliveries. Zaman going for a short one around the off and middle, tried to cramp Iftikhar for space, moves his body away and carves it away down towards the vacant deep third man region. Multan Sultans win their 3rd match on the bounce.

18.5 Zaman Khan to Iftikhar Ahmed, SIX! This is quite exceptional from Iftikhar. A low full toss from Zaman Khan, was in the slot and that has been hammered out of the ground, swiped across the line and goes well over the deep midwicket fence.

18.4 Zaman Khan to Iftikhar Ahmed, SIX! That has been absolutely smoked from his presence by Iftikhar. Was a slower one in the slot, around the off-stump channel, Iftikhar moves across off and disdainfully swipes it away across the line, comfortably clears the deep midwicket fence.

18.3 Zaman Khan to Iftikhar Ahmed, FOUR! Back to back boundaries for the Multan Sultans and Iftikhar Ahmed. Sloppy work by Fakhar Zaman again. Full-length delivery right in the slot, a tad outside off and that has been absolutely jabbed down the ground for a boundary.

18.2 Shaheen Afridi to Iftikhar Ahmed, FOUR! More drama here, Iftikhar with an almighty swing across the line, doesn't get anywhere close to the connection he was after but he will take the end result. Gets an outside edge which flies over the short third man fielder and that races away to the fence.

18.1 Zaman Khan to Iftikhar Ahmed, Iftikhar moves across off and doesn't manage to get under that. Zaman nails the yorker and it goes under his bat.

Khushdil dropped a few catches tonight. Chance for him to redeem himself with 21 to win off 12.

Willey is in pain! That one landed on his boot and you could hear him screaming in anguish straight away! He has made it to his feet but is hobbling. INSULT TO INJURY.

17.6 Shaheen Afridi to David Willey, WICKET! Finger up straightaway but Willey has taken the review. Does what Shaheen Afridi does best, swings it into the left-hander and strikes Willey on the back leg. Was an attempted yorker, misses it just by a fraction but it was good enough. Looked dead and buried to the naked eye.

No bat involved as confirmed by ultra-edge. Moving onto ball tracking now. Impact umpire's call and wickets umpire's call. Willey has to take the long walk back to the pavilion. A couple of great blows but he is out of here.
