Shane McMahon on top of the Cell.

The 10th edition of Hell in a Cell is scheduled to take place tonight. There are currently 8 matches advertised for the Event. The event will feature 2 Hell in a Cell matches, one featuring Raw Superstars and the other one featuring Smackdown Live Superstars. Mick Foley, who has been a part of some brutal Hell in a Cell matches, will serve as the Special Guest Referee for the Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman match.

Apart from these 2 matches, there are 6 other matches on the card too. Although these 6 matches won't take place inside the Cell, they have the potential to be quite decent. The build-up for matches like AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre and Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch has been exceptional.

Although it's believed that Hell in a Cell will end up being a predictable PPV, you should expect some twists and turns. From impromptu matches to swerves, there is a lot that can happen.

So, here are 7 things that you can expect at tonight's Hell in a Cell PPV.

#7 Raw's Tag Team Match Steals the Show

Ent

Seth Rollins has been feuding with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler for almost 3 months. McIntyre and Ziggler had Rollins outnumbered for quite some time.

However, things got interesting when Dean Ambrose returned from injury last month to help Rollins in evening the odds. Ambrose and Rollins are now scheduled to battle McIntyre and Ziggler for the Raw Tag Team Championships.

Now, it's a fact that almost every event features a match that ends up stealing the show. The Raw Tag Titles match will likely be the show-stealer at Hell in a Cell. Everyone is aware of how well Ambrose and Rollins work together.

McIntyre has improved a lot since 2014 and Dolph Ziggler is well, Dolph Ziggler. So, when you put together 4 amazingly talented Superstars in a match and give them sufficient time, expect a masterpiece. Rollins and Ambrose vs. McIntyre and Ziggler will be a show-stealer and it would be difficult for other matches to follow.

#6 The Shield Captures All the RAW Championships

Ent

Seth Rollins is the current Intercontinental Champion while Roman Reigns is the current Universal Champion. Rollins isn't defending his title and Reigns won't be losing his title after winning it less than a month ago. As discussed above, Rollins and Ambrose would be competing against McIntyre and Ziggler for the Raw Tag Titles.

Hell in a Cell could end with The Shield holding all the major titles of Raw Brand. For that to happen however, Ambrose and Rollins need to defeat Ziggler and McIntyre and Reigns needs to retain his title against Strowman. If all members of The Shield do end up winning their respective matches, it would be the first time since 2004 that all major titles of a Brand will be held by members of one faction.

#5 Rusev Day Implodes

Ente

Rusev and Aiden English formed an alliance last year. Their Tag Team got really over with the fans. Rusev and English are scheduled to face The New Day for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships at Hell in a Cell. Rusev Day earned this opportunity by defeating The Bar in a tournament final on this week's Smackdown Live.

Cracks started to appear in Rusev Day when Lana joined the team and English accidentally cost Rusev his match against AJ Styles at Extreme Rules. Those issues were resolved Post-Summerslam.

However, if Rusev Day loses at Hell in a Cell, expect Rusev to destroy English and once again become the Bulgarian Brute he was in 2014. There's a small chance too that English ends up costing Rusev the match due to being frustrated with how Rusev and Lana treated him after Rusev's loss at Extreme Rules. However, Rusev and Lana would benefit more with a heel turn at this stage.

#4 Strowman Breaks The Cell

Braun Strowman is known for his amazing feats of strength in WWE. Strowman has flipped both an Ambulance and a Production truck. It would be quite ignorant of us if we think that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman would have a typical Hell in a Cell match. Expect Strowman to pull off something extra-ordinary.

There's no chance that Strowman would be winning his match but that doesn't mean he wouldn't steal the show. Expect Strowman to either break the Cell door or slam Roman Reigns on top of the cell, breaking the Cell in process. The latter is less likely to happen but it would be a must-see spot and the match would be talked about for many years.

#3 Almas Steps Up to Shinsuke Nakamura

Enter

Ever since successfully defending the US title against Jeff Hardy at Summerslam 2018, Nakamura hasn't appeared regularly on WWE TV. Andrade "Cien" Almas, on the other hand, comes out every week to challenge the best. His matches against AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan were quite impressive.

Expect Almas to confront Nakamura either in the ring or in a backstage segment. It's high time Almas gets involved in a proper story-line. An Almas/Nakamura feud could work and also be the start of Almas' face turn. It's rumored that Almas is being considered to win the Men's Royal Rumble next year. If Almas is indeed being liked so much backstage, expect him to be a part of a proper story-line very soon.

#2 Finn Balor Leaves Raw

<p>

Finn Balor has been feuding with the acting General Manager Baron Corbin for more than 2 months. WWE should now end this feud as it isn't going anywhere. Corbin could book Finn Balor in a Loser Leaves Raw match at Hell in a Cell against the Authors of Pain or anyone else. If Corbin does that, expect Balor to lose.

This would benefit both Corbin and Balor. Corbin would receive huge heat as he would be abusing his power to get rid of a fan favorite. Balor, on the other hand, could go to Smackdown Live.

On Smackdown Live, Balor would receive countless opportunities to resurrect his career. He could feud with the likes of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy etc. and could also re-form "The Club" with Gallows, Anderson and (hopefully) AJ Styles.

#1 Baron Corbin Cashes In

Enter capti

Roman Reigns would not lose the Universal Championship in his first defense. Braun Strowman couldn't lose clean to Reigns as this would damage his character. Ambrose, Rollins, McIntyre and Ziggler are rumored to interfere in the match. Their interference could set up a screwy finish. However, one other way to protect Strowman and Reigns at the same time would be if someone else gets pinned.

Braun Strowman handed over his Money in the Bank briefcase to Baron Corbin and told him to bring the contract with him at Hell in a Cell. Baron Corbin, who likes to abuse his power as the GM, could have a much larger role than simply handing over the briefcase for Braun Strowman to the referee before the match.

He could announce himself as the rightful owner of the briefcase and insert himself in the match, making the match a triple threat. If this ends up happening, expect Reigns to pin Corbin and continue his feud with Strowman.
