The actual legal corporate name is the New York Football Giants, to differentiate the team from the New York Giant baseball team ( which is now the San Francisco Giants), that was present when this club formed.

The current New York Giants home stadium is the MetLife Stadium Located in East Rutherford New Jersey, the stadium is home to both the New York Giants and the New York Giants. At an approximate cost of $1.6 billion, it was the most expensive stadium built in the United States at the time of its completion.

The rivalry between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants is considered as one of the fiercest rivalries in the whole NFL. The Eagles lead the overall series by 91-88-2. The New York Giants and the Eagles have even met in thePlayoffs 4 times, with each team winning twice.

As per a poll, the New York Giants are the more popular football teams in the State. The poll suggested that the popularity percentage of the Giants was around 12% as compared to the popularity percentage of the Jets which is at 6%.
