FAQs

The team relocated to Tennessee in 1997, and in 1999, the year Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville on the east bank of the Cumberland River opened, it changed its name to the Titans.

Since then, Nashville has gained national recognition thanks to the Titans, who have established themselves as a local mainstay.

The current Tennessee Titans home stadium is the Nissan Stadium.  It is owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, it is primarily used for football and is the home field of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL) and the Tigers of Tennessee State University.

The Titans have yet to win a Super Bowl, falling short in their only appearance in Super Bowl XXXIV, although the team does have two championships from its early years in the AFL.

The team relocated to Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville in 1998 as a result of low attendance.

The club played under the name Tennessee Oilers for those two seasons, but for the 1999 campaign, it adopted the Titans moniker and relocated to Adelphia Coliseum (now known as Nissan Stadium).

You can stream any Tennessee Titans game on the Tennessee Titans app or the NFL Game Pass app. Tennessee Titans’ games are also streamed on FOX Sports, or ESPN or CBS.
